Dermatological toxicities affect most cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, targeted therapies, or immunotherapies, frequently leading to body image disturbance, psychological distress, and non-adherence to treatment. This study is the second phase of a multidisciplinary research line that has developed an integrated pharmaceutical and psychological care protocol for these patients. The project will now pilot the protocol in community pharmacies, evaluating its feasibility, patient and professional acceptability, and preliminary effects on adverse-event severity, adherence, body image, and quality of life. The outcomes will support the integration of structured, evidence-based pharmaceutical and psychological care into routine oncology pathways, strengthening multidisciplinary supportive care across Portugal.
